Terang College (5-12 Campus) has introduced a new program called “The Breakfast Club”. This program is available for any student or staff member between 8.15am and 9am each day.
This Club operates out of the Home Economics room and is run by students and staff. A wide variety of food will be available including: cereals, toasties, muesli bars, juice, scroggen mix etc.
Charlotte Abbott has created this program in an attempt to highlight healthy eating and provide all students and staff the opportunity to receive a healthy breakfast each morning. The program is free!
Puberty is a time of hormone changes and social-emotional development which can impact on body image. Social media also has a strong influence. The parental advice website Raising Children Network shares info on how to develop a healthy body image.
