• Hooptime Training at the P-4

Over the last few weeks, Cathy and Mr Clifford have been busy training the 3/4’s for Hoop Time. They have spent many snack and lunchtimes out on the basketball court practising and improving their skills! These are some photos of the Allstar Girls.

  • Hooptime – 3/4 Rookies – Friday 2nd August, 2019

On Friday 2nd August, 31 students from years 3 and 4 competed in the Hooptime Rookies Basketball competition at the Terang Stadium.  The students had been training in their recess and lunchtimes during the two weeks leading up to the day and this was evident in their achievements. All students played fantastic basketball and should be very proud of their efforts and the great sportsmanship they displayed. Thank you to our coaches Mr Clifford, Miss Hunger, Declan Barbary, Michael Hoey and Cathy for all their help on the day.

  • Nexus Community Concert, Friday 24th May, 2019

On Friday night, our Year 2-4 singing group and Mrs Pugh’s instrumental group represented Terang College at the Nexus Concert in the Civic Hall. Both groups did an incredible job performing, as did the students who performed in dancing groups, Liam King on bagpipes and Emily Fuge’s solo violin performance. Special mention to the Year 2-4 singers who were incredibly resilient when their music wouldn’t play initially, and even sang Advance Australia Fair as an acapella alongside Mrs Mackinnon. Well done to all involved. It was a successful night for our students.
