• VCAA VCE Leadership Awards – Wednesday 18th September, 2019

    On Wednesday September 18th Sophie-Kate Shaw was recognised as one of six finalists in the VCAA VCE Leadership Awards at Parliament house, Melbourne. The award is for VCE students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities over the years, in particular their VCE years. Nominations can come from any Victorian school with just 6 being honoured at Parliament house. Sophie-Kate and the other finalists had the opportunity to answer some questions on stage, reflecting on their experiences before a winner was chosen.   • Yr 3 & 4 Hooptime All Star Girls

    We are excited to announce that our 3/4 All Star Girls team have been invited to represent Terang College at the Regional Hoop Time Finals in October! Congratulations to Zoe Hill, Maddi Wallace, Ella Clifford, Tayla Bell, Kesh Wallace, Jasmine McConnell and Amelia Pride.  

  • Greater Western Region Athletics – Monday 16th September, 2019

    Terang College had 13 students representing at Regional level in Athletics yesterday, Monday 16th September. Students departed the College at 8am and headed for Ballarat, Llianberris Athletics Complex. All students competed well with two students Nicholas Castersen and Caytlyn Sharp gaining first places and now heading to State Finals in Melbourne early next term- great effort! Congratulations to all students for the manner in which they conducted themselves- terrific ambassadors for Terang College and the wider Community.

  • Pathways 2 Employment

    Congratulations to Azra Harris on graduating from Pathways 2 Employment. Azra completed the course run at SW Tafe each Monday for 10 weeks. She is to be congratulated on her amazing work ethic and leadership during the 10 weeks. She is pictured with Bianca her course teacher.

  • Big Breakfast Arrangements – Friday 20th September, 2019

    It is on again! Terang College will hold its annual Big Breakfast on Friday 20th September commencing at 8:00am. Once again the ‘Big Breakfast’ will be held at the 5-12 Campus in Strong Street. The cost is $7.00 per person; pre-schoolers are free. Tickets are available from either Campus office.  All students are encouraged to dress in their favourite football colours on the day. All P-4 Campus bus travellers will be dropped to the 5-12 Campus.     The girls had a fabulous day competing against 8 other schools from the district. It was an excellent opportunity for them to showcase the skills they have developed from our recent football clinics. Everyone played well and displayed great sportsmanship.

  • Year 4 AFL 9’s – -Thursday 12th September, 2019

    On Thursday 12th September, 20 Year 4 students competed in the AFL 9’s competition. The students were coached by Miss Beauglehall and Cathy and participated in mixed teams against other schools in the district. The round robin event focuses on participation and skill development. All students played fantastic football and should be very proud of their efforts and great sportsmanship. Amelia Pride and Oliver Wilson represented Terang College in the lunchtime longest kick competition. They both had an incredible try and were very close to the longest kick! Congratulations to all involved and a special thanks Oliver Delaney and Nick Castersen for giving up their time to umpire.
