• South West Combined Division Swimming Championships – Friday 13th March, 2020

    South West Combined Division Swimming Championships Congratulations to the 13 Year 5 & 6 students who represented Terang College at the Division Swimming in Warrnambool on Friday 13th March, competing against students from 35 other schools in the Division. This was the first time many of the students had competed in a 50m pool. All students swam very well, and quite a few PB’s were achieved.   • House Swimming Sports – 21st February, 2020

    House Swimming Sports 2020 A huge congratulations to all students and teachers that took part in our Annual House Swimming Sports last Friday. It was wonderful to see student participation was up from previous years, creating a very close competition for Champion House. Congratulations to Keilambete who narrowly pipped Dalvui to be awarded the Champion House for 2020.   • HSSSD Swimming Carnival – Tuesday 25th February, 2020

    HSSSD SWIMMING Congratulations to the 40 students who represented Terang College at the year 7-12 District Swimming Carnival in Timboon on Tuesday 25th February. Terang was well represented throughout the day, with many ribbons, PB’s, and a number of records broken. One highlight was the 16 year girls Freestyle Relay- Kara Gee, Jess Beasley, Ingrid Cavarsan and Annalise Abbott, breaking MRC’s longstanding 2001 record by 4 seconds.   • P-12 Athletics Carnival – 3rd March, 2020

    On Tuesday 3rd March 2020, Terang College will be running their annual Athletics Carnival. The carnival will be held at the Terang Rec Reserve from 9:30am to approximately 2:45. P4 students will be bussed to and from the P4 campus and 5-12 students will walk to the event. The Terang College VCAL students are running a B.B.Q on the day, notes have been sent out to P4 students to pre-order and pay by Friday 28th February. Children must be dressed appropriately; Shorts, runners, T-shirts (preferably house colours). Students will be provided with sunscreen throughout the day.   • HSSSD Cricket – 17/02/2020

    Terang College recently participated in a senior cricket competition held at the Timboon Recreation Centre. Our boys won a very close game against Cobden thereby qualifying for the final against Mercy. Terang College bowled extremely well against Mercy in the final keeping them to under one hundred. Unfortunately our batting line up could not get on top of the Mercy bowling attack. Well done to all boys for their tremendous effort on the day, in particular for their sportsmanship.   • 5-12 Swim Carnival – Rescheduled date Friday 21st February

    Terang College 5-12 House Swimming Sports have been rescheduled to this Friday 21st February. There are no changes to the Carnival other than the date, the swimming sports will be run as previously published. The canteen will be open and a BBQ lunch available. Students will be dismissed at the end of the Swimming Sports from the pool. School buses will pick up students that travel by bus from the pool.

  • 5-12 Swim Carnival – Today – Cancelled

    Due to the inclement weather today and expected worsening conditions, the Swim Carnival today will not be going ahead. We will advise parents later today of our expected rescheduled day. Due to the late notice we have no concerns with students who come to school out of uniform. The College will still run a BBQ today for lunch.

  • Portland Basketball Tournament – 1-2 February, 2020

    A number of Terang College students headed to Portland last weekend for Basketball with the Terang Tornadoes. Congratulations to Ella Clifford, Tayla Bell, Mayci Dwyer & Kaitlyn Hill who were members of the winning Under 12 Grand Final side. Makayla Vickers, Jess Bell & Olivia Lourey were Runners-up in the Under 14 Grand Final. Congratulations to all students who participated on the weekend.

  • Australian All Schools Champsionship – Perth

    Congratulations to Caytlyn Sharp, on her huge  success at the 2019 Australian All Schools Championships in Perth. Caytlyn competed in the Under 18 Para 100 m dash, finishing 3rd  and in the Under 18 Para Long Jump, finishing 1st , to  claim the title of Australian All Schools National Champion in Long Jump for 2019. Fantastic results Caytlyn, well done.

  • Cricket Blast Cup Regional Finals – Thursday 21st November, 2019

    Well done to Lucy Eldridge, Bree Coverdale, Emma Hill, Jess Bell, Sema Meric, Lilly Dixon, Su-Ri Kim, Allivia Hoey and Olivia Duffield on their outstanding performance at the Greater Western  Region Cricket Finals in Hamilton on Thursday. The girls won 2 out of 4 games, losing one game by only 4 runs. Awesome effort girls. A huge thank you to Nick Castersen and Harvey Roberts  for coaching and umpiring the girls on the day and Mr. Geary for scoring all the games.
