• Caytlyn Sharp competes at Inas Global Games Brisbane

    Caytlyn Sharp competed this week at the Inas Global Games in Brisbane against 50 countries and 1000 athletes.  In the Triple Jump she broke the Australian U18 and U20 record with a new PB of 9:75 and is now 4th ranked in the world and 2nd ranked junior.  Long jump another big PB of 4.91 in the morning qualifiers and 4.96 in the final, placing 4th in the world. Cayty was proud to mention Terang College in her interview with SBS world.  In the 200mtr a PB in the semi’s of 28.01.  In high jump it was a tough competition she received the silver medal with a jump of 1.46,…

  • Year 7 & 8 Boys Cricket Blast Club – Monday 21st October, 2019

    Well done to the Year 7 and 8 Boys who competed in Cricket Victoria’s Cricket Blast Cup at Terang Recreation Reserve today. The Year 8 Boys won 1 game and lost 2, then played against MRC in the final for 3rd place and finished 4th. The Year 7 Boys went down to MRC In the Grand Final. Awesome effort Boys. Thanks to Tyson Royal, Jack Carlin and Mr Eccles for umpiring and scoring all day and to Jason and James from Cricket Victoria for organizing the day.

  • SSV Primary Golf Tournament – Monday 21st October, 2019

    A great effort today by all the grade 5/6s that attended the Golf Competition at Terang Golf Club. Students worked well to encourage, support and congratulate their team mates. Congratulations to Bailey Livermore (Cumming) who came third in the boys competition, and congratulations to Su-Ri Kim (2nd) and Jess Bell (1st) in the girls competition. These three students will move onto the next level in Warrnambool next month. Thanks also to our parent and student helpers. A great day for all that were involved.

  • SSV State Track & Field Championships – Friday 18th October, 2019

    Good luck To Nick Castersen, who will be representing Terang College this Friday 18th October at the School Sports Victoria State Track and Field Championships in Melbourne. After winning the 15 Year Boys Discus at Regionals, Nick qualified to compete at the State Championships. We wish you all the best Nick.

  • Greater Western Region Athletics – Friday 1th October, 2019

    GREATER WESTERN REGION ATHLETICS Congratulations to all the students who competed at GWR Athletics at Llanberris Athletics Track in Ballarat today. Results from the day are: Jessica Bell- 11th in 1500m run Felicity Wood- 11th in 1500m run and 12th in 800m run Lynley Sharp- 9th in Shot Put Sema Meric- 2nd Shot Put and 2nd in Long Jump (narrowly missing 1st place by 3 cm) A big congratulations to Sema who has now qualified to compete at SSV State Championships in Melbourne. An awesome effort by all the girls, well done, the Terang College Community are very proud of all your acheivements.

  • Yr 3 & 4 Hooptime All Star Girls

    We are excited to announce that our 3/4 All Star Girls team have been invited to represent Terang College at the Regional Hoop Time Finals in October! Congratulations to Zoe Hill, Maddi Wallace, Ella Clifford, Tayla Bell, Kesh Wallace, Jasmine McConnell and Amelia Pride.

  • Greater Western Region Athletics – Monday 16th September, 2019

    Terang College had 13 students representing at Regional level in Athletics yesterday, Monday 16th September. Students departed the College at 8am and headed for Ballarat, Llianberris Athletics Complex. All students competed well with two students Nicholas Castersen and Caytlyn Sharp gaining first places and now heading to State Finals in Melbourne early next term- great effort! Congratulations to all students for the manner in which they conducted themselves- terrific ambassadors for Terang College and the wider Community.

  • Pathways 2 Employment

    Congratulations to Azra Harris on graduating from Pathways 2 Employment. Azra completed the course run at SW Tafe each Monday for 10 weeks. She is to be congratulated on her amazing work ethic and leadership during the 10 weeks. She is pictured with Bianca her course teacher.
