Tomorrow is our Book Week Parade!

The CBCA Book Week theme for 2024 is “Reading is Magic”.
Students from years Prep to 6 are studying the short-listed books in the Early Childhood and Picture Book of the Year categories.
We expect all students P-12 to participate in the Book Week parade celebrations by dressing up as their favourite book character. As for previous years, we would encourage children to be creative and to use costumes or make costumes from things that they have at home.

We have been lucky enough to secure a performance by Dazzling Dan, a magician. His performance will begin at 9 am sharp. Our Book Week Parade will commence after this. Homeroom will begin earlier than normal (8.50am) before everyone heads over to the Hall for the magic to begin. All classes will resume as normal after recess.

All parents, guardians and friends are welcome to attend the performance and parade.
