Over the past two weeks all F-6 students participated in six 30-minute swimming and water safety lessons. Students focused on water safety and stroke development, finishing the program with a F-6 House Swimming Carnival, where we saw all year levels participating in friendly House group games and races, with the Year 6 boys finishing off the event with a 33mt sprint against Year 6 teacher, Mr Walz. After points were tallied Dalvui was announced the Champion House for the F-6 Swimming Carnival, followed by Keayang in 2nd place and Keilambete 3rd .
We are very proud of the swimming improvements our students have made over the past two weeks, they should be proud of their achievements. A big thank you to the parents for their support, the Terang Pool Lifeguards and all the staff who helped make this program a success.
Finally special thanks to the following people-Stacey for her behind the scenes work, to our trusty bus driver Nicole, to Holly, Cathy, student helpers-Tahnee, Bella, Kirra, Chloe and our past and present School Captains, Tayla Logan, and Jess Bell for helping teach our younger students skills for life.
