On Friday the 9th August, Terang College sent two All Star teams to the local Hoop Time event. The air was buzzing with excitement as the students prepared for the competition. Both boys and girls teams played a total of 5 games each. The girls team consisted of Ruby, Courtney, Taliah, Zoe, Zara and Ella. They endured tough competition and unfortunately lost all their games however displayed an improvement in skill and demonstrated great teamwork. The girls encouraged one another and celebrated each achievement through cheers and high-fives.
The boys fought hard against much bigger opponents. It was great to see the encouragement and teamwork that was on display. The boys managed to win two games, with a game winning layup by Harley Quick in the dying seconds. They should be all extremely proud of their accomplishments.
