Thank you to Tanya McDonald  and Adeline who came this term to teach our P-4 students about local Aboriginal dances and the story behind them. We learnt the Hunting Dance “Gnootyoong Karweeyn” and all about the animals involved like the kuyang (eel), gneeangar (eagle), koorrayn (kangaroo) and the kapprring (emu). The students and staff really enjoyed it and learnt a lot.
