A huge congratulations to Terang College students Liam King who won the 2018 Jean Wood Music Awards Senior Prize for his bagpipe performance and Maurice Martin as runner-up on his guitar. Liam auditioned for the Senior Prize, impressing the adjudication panel with his performance.
Terang College violinists, Emily Fuge and Renee Cowan auditioned for the Junior Prize. Emily was thrilled to be awarded a place at the Geelong Summer Youth Music Camp in January.
Emily and Renee attended the 2018 Jean Wood Music Awards Presentation at the Terang RSL on Monday, 17 September. Students received their Music Awards, which was followed by some musical performances and afternoon tea. Renee confidently played her favourite song. Liam was unable to attend the Music Awards Presentation as he is overseas with the Terang RSL and will be presented with his Senior Prize at assembly next term. Congratulations Liam, Maurice, Emily and Renee!
