Today Josh Katz (Olympic Athlete) spoke to the Year 7-9 students about his journey to the Olympics.

6 months after finishing high school in 2015, Josh was the youngest to compete in Judo for Australia at the 2016 Rio Olympics. After the Olympics Josh went on to win Bronze at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

Josh spoke to the students about his motivation to pursue his Olympic dream in Judo at such a young age and the way he has managed to overcome numerous setbacks in his early adulthood. The students were curious in his journey and in the sport of Judo, they also got to hold his Bronze medal.
