Renee Cowan attended a Music Workshop with musicians from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra at Camperdown College on Friday, 21 September.

At the workshop, the MSO musicians played music from ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Star Wars’. Renee learnt how Alexander Technique exercises, such as snake arms, can improve violin tone/sound. Students asked the MSO musicians questions and learnt about the life of a professional musician. Renee played one of her Band pieces, ‘Chicken on a Fencepost’ with the MSO musicians and Camperdown College students and it sounded pretty good!!
