With near perfect cross country running conditions last Friday, 7 of our Year 4-6 students travelled to Deakin University to participate in the Primary School Divisional Cross Country. Our students competed against students  from as far as Coleraine, Portland, Hamilton and Dunkeld.

The day started with a fantastic run from Sema Meric, finishing a credible 4th out of 63 runners. Sema will now participate in the Regional Cross Country on Friday 1st June., again at Deakin University. Well done Sema.

All other students were very competitive, bringing home some solid results with their persistence and endurance. The results for the day:

Sema Meric:         4th/63                         Kaitlin Hill:             25th/61

Felicity Wood:      21st/63                       Jess Bell:                33rd/61

Oliver Guthrie:     25th/71                       Prince Catanyag:  16th/57 Stevie Godber:                                 13th/61

Thank you to Mrs Guthrie and parents for driving the students to the event and supporting the students on the day.

We have a team of 14 students travelling to Deakin University, Warrnambool on Friday to compete in the Regional Primary and Secondary Cross Country events.

Good luck to you all for Friday.
