VCE Food Studies
Yesterday, VCE Food Studies 1 & 2 students had a cooking session with Phil our IT Specialist. The class are investigating cuisines and cultures that migrants have bought to Australia including their ingredients, equipment, and recipes from their homelands, as well as celebrations and traditions that revolve around food. Thanks Phil, for showing us traditional Korean cooking.
VCE Food Studies 3 & 4 students are exploring the medias influence on the food information available to us and our food choices. Specifically, looking at how our food knowledge and choices are influenced by marketing and advertising, news reports, popular culture and social media. Today in class, they created their own breakfast charcuterie boards…delicious!
