As part of our Escape Room Unit this term, students from Vocational Major and VCAL explored designing and building their own version. We began by visiting the Pirate Room at Lockology in Warrnambool gaining a firsthand experience, demonstrating our critical thinking skills and working as a team to escape inside the designated time frame. We had an absolute ball throughout the day and although coming up short, our perseverance and determination showed our ability to adapt to various challenges.

We took these learnings into our model building and re-created our own miniature version for staff and students to play.
