On Wednesday 1st November the 5/6 Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden students headed off to Dunkeld to do a tour of the Royal Mail Hotel Kitchen Garden. We learnt about crop rotation, different species of plants, how the gardeners farm organically. We saw their watering system, as well as the hothouse igloos. We even tasted some plants, one that makes your tongue numb! We have returned with lots of information and ideas to try out in the SAKG garden! Special thanks to Linda and Bree Huggins for coming along.
