GWR Secondary Athletic finals – 06/10/2022

GREATER WESTERN REGION SECONDARY ATHLETICS FINALS – 06/10/22
Well done to Terang College students, Oliver, Elizabeth, Tayla, Nick, Harrison, Lucy, Tayte, Bailey, Emma and Emily, who all competed at GWR Athletics at Llanberris Athletics Track in Ballarat.
Congratulations to the following students who finished top 3 for the day:-
Tayte McMaster 2nd in the 12/13 Boys High Jump,
Emma Hill 3rd in the 12/13 girls Javelin and Discus,
Tayla Bell 3rd in the 12/13 girls Triple Jump, narrowly missing 2nd place by 1cm,
Harrison Hunter 3rd in 17 yr. boys Discus,
Bailey Dennis 3rd 16 yr boys Javelin,
Year 12 student Oliver Delaney for finishing 2nd in the 18-20 boys Shot Put, and
Nick Castersen who was the overall winner in the 18-20 boys Discus.
After winning this event, Nick has now qualified to compete at SSV State Championships in Melbourne on Monday 17th October. Well done Nick.
