Terang College had a team of 7 secondary students compete at the GWR Cross Country Championships in Warrnambool.
Jess, Lucy, Maddi, Cameron, and Renee completed the 3km course, while Jasper, and Riley ran the trying 5km course. All students showed resilience across the challenging course and conditions.
Year 12 students, Riley and Jess put in strong performances. Riley completed the 5km course in a very respectable time of 20:19 minutes, and a standout performance came from Jess in the 3km course, finishing 11th from a field of 43 in a time of 13.18 minutes, qualifying Jess to compete at her 4th and final State Cross Country Championships in Term 3.
