Last week, our VCE VM Year 11 students hosted a heartwarming morning tea at Terang College to celebrate their ‘Special Person’ as part of their This Is Your Life project.

The students rolled up their sleeves in the kitchen, baking fresh scones and preparing a selection of delicious sandwiches for the guests from Terang Mortlake Health Services.

During the event, each student shared a personal presentation about their special person’s life story — reflecting on cherished memories, significant milestones, and the unique bond they share. To mark the occasion, students gifted a canvas painting, with each artwork capturing a special memory between them and their guest.

It was a beautiful and moving way to conclude the project, highlighting not only the storytelling skills of our students but the genuine connections they’ve built.

Well done to our Year 11 VM students — you’ve made an incredible impact and created memories that will last a lifetime!
