Counselling & Health Support

Terang College offers access to counselling and health support services to assist students with their emotional, social, and physical wellbeing. Support is available through individual sessions, group programs, and referrals to external services when required.

Our counselling and health services support students with social, emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs. Students may access support for concerns such as stress, anxiety, friendships, family changes, learning challenges, or general wellbeing.

Support may include:

  • Individual counselling sessions

  • Short-term and ongoing wellbeing support

  • Health planning and care coordination

  • Referrals to appropriate internal or external services

Students can be referred by parents, teachers, or self-refer with encouragement from a trusted adult. All counselling conversations are handled respectfully and confidentially, in line with school and departmental guidelines.
